DESCRIPTION
Combination Strike is my Graduation project. The project is a turn-based RPG where the player has control over and is able to customize a party of 3 characters. for this project i made a system that when the player hits a weakness finds attacks in the other 2 partymembers that share a element or property with the first attack and creates a Combo attack with them
For Combination Strike i was the only programmer and my main focus was in building a turn based combat system where your parties abilities could automatically combo into each other based on sharing certain properties like an element or a being a physical or ranged attack.
I created:

A turn based combat system where the player controls 3 different characters against 1 enemy

A random encounter system where the player can encounter 1 of 3 enemy variants

A enemy and character system that gives these objects abilities,health,action points,strengths and weakness values

A loadout system allowing the player to customize and change their party members their abilities to create their own unique lineup
Past my programming duty i was responsible for the following:

Creating the game design.

Prototyping and testing the gameflow with external testers

Keeping the project schedule uptodate

Planning in meetings with externals

Preparing assets for said meetings

Discussing character design with external artists

Discussing music creation with external artists
