Rijks Museum Family Game

DESCRIPTION

For the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam my team together with the internal Rijkslab team worked for 6 months towards the creation of a proof of concept prototype.

 

This prototype was about gamifying the tours in the museum so that families could enjoy learning about and discovering the pieces in the museum in a fun way without the need for a tour guide .

 

Our game was a mixture of narrative adventure ,AR mini games and real life navigation to find their way to the next point of the story in the museum .

On this project me and a fellow programmer worked on having the game recognize our art pieces with the help of Vuforia in Unity, creating a narrative system to support the game with tools to easily make new narratives and the creation of the AR Mini games.
